Following Bishkek's trolleybus renewal

The final batch of 5 "TROLZA" trolleybuses were sent to Kyrgyzstan's capital as a final of the EBRD project on vehicle renewal that lasted just a year.


The last part consisted of 5 trolleybuses TROLZA-5275.03 Optima. The machines are designed for the capital of Kyrgyzstan – Bishkek. The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.


This is the final stage of the contract for the supply of 37 medium-sized trolleybuses to Bishkek.  The total amount of the contract was 4.95 million euros. It included the launch of trolleybuses in Kyrgyzstan, training of personnel of the Bishkek trolleybus department in the enterprise premises. The warranty period for maintenance of the trolley is 2 years.


In recent years, this is the third joint project of JSC "TROLZA" in Kyrgyzstan at the "financial umbrella" of the EBRD. In 2013, 44 trolleybuses were delivered to the city of Bishkek. In 2017, 23 trolleybuses came to the Kyrgyz city of Osh. In total, the EBRD project help to supply 104 trolleybuses to Kyrgyzstan.


JSC "TROLZA" hopes to continue working for Kyrgyzstan public transport.
